Kuruzovich’s paper, “Responding to Technology-Enabled Organizational Transformation,” is one of three finalists selected for the Best Paper Award from among over 1050 papers submitted for the 15th AMCIS Conference in San Francisco.
Kuruzovich’s paper discusses the rapid IT-enabled transformation of business organizations and operations as a result of the emergence of the internet, and poses the question: how can firms survive and even thrive during such transformations? AMCIS (The Americas Conference on Information Systems), is one of the leading conferences for presenting the broadest variety of research done by and for IS/IT academicians in the Western Hemisphere. The conference is sponsored by the Association for Information Systems (AIS), a global professional organization for academics specializing in Information Systems with approximately 4,000 members in 96 countries worldwide.
